There is a really great moment of the bride. They newly weds had just said their vows and the scene outside the church was (to borrow a term from a fellow blogger) effusive. The cameras were all pointed at the bride, she was the star of her wedding, and happiness was clearly emanating from her – one could really feel it. And then, I noticed her trailing dress, and the rose just crumpled underneath it and I just had to photograph it.
Perhaps, a little mean of me to do so, this shot insulates you from the entire buzz of the wedding going on above, with an isolated shot of the details of her gown. But this might be more about the things one doesnt see, when the world’s attention is on pretty much everything else.
