A brief encounter with the Leica M9: 7 of 7

And I leave you with this last shot of the glass cabinets holding the precious new Leica M9s at the Mayfair Leica shop, of all colours the customer browsing had to chance upon wearing a red t-shirt to meld in with the Leica colours.

It was absolutely magical visiting the shop, and I felt so lucky that the shop assistants let me play with the M9. It was truly an amazing visit and the brief moments of holding this special camera in my hand and shooting with it, filled me with inspiration, wonder, expectation and it reminded again of why I take photographs, every press of the shutter, the sound of an image being pixelated… oh it was pure joy.

As much as I love food, I also love photography and it is fleeting moments like this that I will cherish forever, and I suppose that’s why I can’t contain it and pouring it all over this blog, because it was really, just that special.

Hope you enjoyed this brief moment when Noir was photographed with a Leica M9, the price range is completely out of reach for me so its unlikely this will ever be done again (at least for me) , but hey, that just makes it extra special.

Have a great weekend folks.

Nice to see you so excited about the M9. I haven’t tried it but I believe it is going to be remarkable.

I would love to get this as well but it just is too expensive.
