Everything is mobile.

Ahem. This is actually my favourite place to update content because it’s so quiet, either nobody gives a damn about the photographs I upload, or just that you are a very patient audience. Either way, I like it here. So I thought I’d do something new from now on and actually speak a little about the ‘thought process’ behind my images. Afterall, an image is stronger when it has a story to tell, or simply that it has a story behind it.

So this image is titled ‘Everything is Mobile’ because if you look carefully at all the elements in the photograph, everything and indeed everyone is in motion, including the mobile mobilephone (forgive the lame pun) and if you come closer, the trees. I snapped this picture in Taipei and it was one of those moments of clarity when I saw something come together. I wanted to instantly freeze motion (oxymoron yes), and would have liked to captured a crystal still scooter instead of a half blur, in an attempt to juxapose this fact. Frozen motion, in a still image but motion nonetheless.
