Abbey Road Cross.

And so this would appear to be the Leica bokeh worshipped by legions of photographers. Shot on Kodak’s superfine grain Ektar 100 film, which I think is absolutely amazing with regards to colour reproduction, and using a Leica 35mm f1.4 Pre-ASPH lens on an M6, probably at f2.0 or even wide open, can’t be certain.

I was at Abbey Road Crossing, along with tens of tourists wanting to recreate their personal Beatles cover moment, and thought of trying to shoot the iconic landmark in an awkward angle, not tried by others.

And so I spotted a lamp post with lots of music stickers on it and thought of trying to create a ‘cross’ with the crossing, and with someone trying to cross the crossing…. yeah… I’m writing this at 7am so…
