Taken at Brick Lane, London in June 2010. Tri-X 400, 35mm approx f8.
I learn something new everyday. Thanks to a tweet from @gavinbaxter , it never really occurred to me that adding attribution gives a photograph a place in time and space. It’s such a simple thing yet the thought never really crossed my mind.
Fast forwarding say 10 years down the line, it would actually be beneficial to me to know when and where I took a photo, to remind myself really, and now that I think about it, space and time does affect what the viewer sees in the photograph. Perhaps even change the context of the content.
