Leica X1. ISO100. 36mm f8, London. October 2010.
So. I traded my M8 in and got myself a Leica X1, and then prowled East London. It’s a good camera, but it IS overpriced. Most importantly however, it delivers the goods on the IQ end, images are fantastic and does exude ‘Leica quality’ – whatever that may be.
The camera is total luxury of course, you won’t need one. But if you want a super duper compact that delivers quality snaps, it’s just simply a great tool to have. And if you’re a Leica-nut, you’ll love the camera. Can shoot in the dark too, where the M8 just produced green bands.
